Competition Rules

• You must be signed in, and each person appears once on a board with their best result.
• The site supplies the practice text and measures the time, and it calculates your score from what you typed.
• Results count only with the standard settings: fixed test lengths, corrections allowed, and no added punctuation, numbers or capitals.
• Tests must last at least 15 seconds with at least 20 correct units. Custom text and pasted input never count.
• Speeds above 250 WPM are rejected, and unusually fast results stay hidden until a person reviews them.
• Desktop keyboards, input methods (IME) and mobile keyboards have separate boards.

WPM here means correct units per minute divided by five. It is best compared within one language. These checks make cheating harder but cannot detect every automated tool, so results may be removed after review.
