How to Take the Hindi Typing Test

  1. Choose how long you want the test to run.
  2. Select your Hindi keyboard or input method on your device.
  3. Start typing the text shown. The timer starts with your first character, not when you click the box.
  4. Keep typing until the time runs out, then check your results.

Understanding Your Results

Speed is counted in text units: what a reader sees as one character, including its vowel signs or accent marks. WPM here means correct units per minute divided by five. It is a shared measure and does not count Hindi words directly, so scores are best compared within the same language. Accuracy is the share of units that were right when you typed them, so a corrected mistake still counts against it.
