Understanding Your Results
Speed is counted in text units: what a reader sees as one character, including its vowel signs or accent marks. WPM here means correct units per minute divided by five. It is a shared measure and does not count French words directly, so scores are best compared within the same language. Accuracy is the share of units that were right when you typed them, so a corrected mistake still counts against it.
